New World of Work - 21st Century Skills

New world of work logoThe New World of Work program was developed in partnership between the California Department of Education and the Community College Chancellors Office. The full program covers the Top 10 Employability Skills according to employers and industry groups. Each skill module is comprised to two 90-minute lessons. Skills included: Adaptability, Analysis/solution Mindset, Collaboration, Communication, Digital Fluency, Empathy, Entrepreneurial Mindset, Resilience, Self-Awareness, and Social Diversity/Awareness.

Using MS Excel for Data Analysis
A course to explore the beauty of math and learn the basics of data analysis and visualization through Microsoft Excel.   Students will use mock data or their own data to learn how to set up their spreadsheet, to sort data, and analyze data in a variety of ways.
